Why This Role Exists
We’re building a new kind of retail experience—and we need a merchant to help shape it. This role is about translating ideas into real assortments that:
Inspire content across our community, social, and store displays
Are ready-to-use by shopkeepers looking for smarter solutions
Inform future tools and templates inside our platform
Support product development by testing structure, logic, and vibe
You'll collaborate closely with a small, fast moving team to align on tone, themes, and goals — then bring your own creativity, instincts, and retail intuition to the work
Compensation & Engagement Structure
Pilot Engagement: 3 Month Contract
This is a limited-time, paid collaboration to help us build the first version of our playbook and toolkit.
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend or evolve)
Commitment: ~4–6 hours/month
Goal: Co-create 4-6 proof-of-concept shelf drops and codify the system
Review: At 90 days to discuss next steps — more hours, systematized role, or even equity opportunity
Base Monthly Retainer: $750 per month
In exchange for:
Participation in 2–3 collaborative working sessions per month
Includes co-creation of shelf drop workflows, standards, and visual templates
Includes development of 4-6 finished MVP concept per month
Flexible, side-hustle friendly — ideal for someone working full-time elsewhere
You're helping build the system, not just execute it.
Performance Bonuses: Up to $500/month
Get rewarded for creativity and traction:
$100 → Concept drives a retailer test or live pilot
$100 → Shelf content brings in 3+ inbound leads
$100 → Assortment selected by 2+ shops
$100 → Idea you pitch is greenlit and executed
$100 → Content featuring your shelf hits 10k+ views or 1k+ likes
